This place was really good: we got the Okinawa, it doesn't taste like a traditional brown sugar boba but it was still delicious. Tasted like Cap'n Crunch cereal milk. Store was clean and everyone was friendly!

Tea Swirl is conveniently located near ASU campus, in a small shopping center. I didn't have any trouble finding parking in the parking lot. There is seating both inside and outside the business. I ordered the wintermelon lemonade with coconut jelly. It was a little confusing because their sugar level system is different from other boba places. At Tea Swirl the "standard" sugar level is 20%. So if you ask for 50% sugar you are actually asking them to increase the normal amount of sugar. I opted for the standard 20% sugar and I'm glad I did because it was sweet enough. The coconut jelly was really interesting because it was in the shape of a short noodle rather than in cubes or rectangles, like I have had before at other places. I have to say I would have preferred a different shape for the coconut jelly. In the small noodle shape you couldn't really taste it at all because there wasn't enough surface area touching your tongue. Next time, I would add boba instead.

Decided on grabbing a drink after getting groceries. I had never been before and the menu isn't very descriptive as to what is in the drinks when inquiring about it the answers were about as vague as the menu. Got a raspberry galaxy drink based on the cashiers recommendation. It was very sweet and a nice treat. There are a few tables/ bar area which were mostly occupied.

Tea swirl is my favorite drink place in arizona! If they were open in the morning I would go broke getting it every day before work. I'm from Washington, where seattle has the best boba so i've struggled to find a good boba spot in the Tempe/scottsdale area, but tea swirl takes the cake. I love their peach green tea with crystal or black boba and lychee jelly (they can do it half and half) and this one is super sweet so I usually do 20% sweetness. Their early grey milk tea is my other favorite with black boba and sometimes crema. It's very subtle earl grey flavor and not too sweet. I also like the crystal jade for a refreshing lime drink sometimes. My boyfriend loves their specialty drink the rising phoenix. Even if you don't like boba, their teas are amazing and they have other awesome toppings like crema and pudding. I got all my roommates and coworkers addicted to it, it's worth the hype. I love how they allow you to customize almost everything and their variety of options. You can't go wrong with this place, thanks tea swirl :)

Tea swirl never disappoints! I love this place because they offer tons of tasty tea and slushes, have a beautiful environment, and it's close to the ASU campus! My favorite drinks are passion fruit tea and passion fruit slush, and for the toppings, both boba and fruit jelly go well with it!

Not a bad place to get your boba fix! Tea Swirl is located in a plaza with Trader Joes, and there's plenty of parking. The shop is pretty clean and has super cute decor (the last time I visited, the shop workers drew Miyazaki characters on a chalkboard wall)! There is some bench seating inside, so if you want to sit, enjoy your boba, and chat with a friend, you can certainly do so. I usually get the Classic Green Milk Tea with boba and no sugar/ice, and I appreciate that the shop doesn't take off 1/4 of the drink just because I order no ice in it (I have noticed quite a couple shops in the Phoenix area do so and they're pretty stingy with it). The boba is always pretty chewy and sweet, and the drink is usually fragrant and pairs well with the boba. I've come here several times and they're always quite consistent with how they make their drinks! Overall, I prefer Dayung over Tea Swirl, but still a good place to get boba if you're around the downtown ASU campus!
